Frisky Freezy Pops

My childhood summers were HOT and sweaty. We ran for hours outside an had unlimited energy. Every day we’d ask for some pocket change to get freezy pops from the corner store. My favourite colour back then was RED. Second, I would take bright blue. Those were loaded with sugar and who knows what else, but they were sure a fab way to cool down in summer.

Now that I am more mature, ahem… I still love the cooling off effect of freezy pops, but need a bit more nutrition and pep to help me reach my career goals while keeping up with my family. Introducing Uplift – Frisky Freezy Pops! We took frozen fruit juices and blended with Uplift by Juice Plus+ to deliver your body essential b-vitamins and other naturally sourced food ingredients.

You will find these six plant-based ingredients in Uplift by Juice Plus+:

About Freezy Pop Mould Bags

This is the best invention ever! We at home can make our own fruity freezy pops, coffee icey pops or even smoothie yogurt pops! The only thing is that you will need to try a few times as it will be a bit messy pouring liquid into that slim mould bag. LOL. I used a measuring cup with a spout to help get it in there. Then I used a smallish funnel with the bag standing upright in a tall cup. The best thing is that they are portable as well and make it out into the garden or corner park to enjoy with friends.

About the Freezy Pop Flavours

Sky is the limit with the amount of fruity pop recipes you can try. My favourites:

  • Cherry juice, water blended with Uplift
  • Mango and pineapple blended with coconut milk
  • Berry Good Yoghurt Popsicles
  • Strawberries blended with lemonade
  • Orange bits and mango blended with a bit of water

We intend this year to make a whole freezer drawer full of these more health conscious freezy pops, because it helps us to get more fruit into our diet in a fun way. I like having one after lunch to cool off before going back to work and to keep going through the mid-afternoon slump.

Remember to enjoy Uplift by Juice Plus+ as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
