Tim Blank was raised in a rural farm community in the western Dakotas and grew up "loving the land we steward," as he puts it. Combining a passion for both agriculture and science, in 1992 he graduated from Valencia College with a degree in Horticulture and Greenhouse Management. In 1993, Tim took the first step toward his life's work when he was hired by Walt Disney World in Florida as an advanced intern at Epcot Center's Living with the Land pavilion. In 2000, Tim was offered and accepted the position of Chief Horticulturist and Greenhouse Manager of The Land. As Greenhouse Manager, he was responsible for four hydroponic bio-domes over a two-acre area consisting of tropical, temperate, productive, and innovative greenhouses. In 2005, Time left Disney to launch a one-of-a-kind company called Future Growing, where he still serves as President today. He is dedicated to reintroducing healthy food to the American family. Tim had handed off responsibility for marketing the residential Tower Garden to Juice Plus+, allowing Future Growing to focus on larger-scale, commercial vertical growing projects such as the Tower Garden "Eco-Farm" at Chicago O'Hare Airport.

F. Matt Brown, Jr., M.D. comes to us by way of a decorated career in the U.S. Navy. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta in 1982 and medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. As a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, Dr. Brown interned at the Naval Hospital in San Diego and did his residency at Duke University Medical Center. Between those two educational stints, he served as General Medical Officer for the Fleet Marine Force Pacific in Camp Pendleton, California. After Duke, Dr. Brown practiced abroad for the Navy – in Naples, Italy and Cairo, Egypt. Along the way, he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and then Commander before his honorable discharge from active duty in 1997. He practices internal medicate with High Country Proactive Health, PLLC, in Boone, North Carolina. He is also a serious recreational road cyclist and participates in competitive cycling events whenever his busy schedules allows. He and wife Allison are also proud parents of four children ages 11 to 21.

Richard DuBois received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Over his 42 years as a practicing physician, he has served as President of the Georgia Society of Internal Medicine, President of the Infectious Disease Society of Georgia, and President of the Medical Association of Atlanta. Jan Young, N.D. is a Naturopathic Doctor and has worked in the wellness education field for the last 18 years teaching classes on everything from juicing and vegetarian eating to organic growing and alternative healing. Her Living Tower Farm showcases 4,400 square feet of eco-friendly greenhouse that utilizes "Tower Garden" technology and aeroponic growing. All plants grown are non-GMO and certified organic pest management is used. Her concentration is on producing strong, nutrient dense produce while making a small footprint. Her passion is to help others to "take control of their health" by teaching them how.
