Homemade Banana Bread
3 big, ripe bananas (mashed)
6 tablespoons unsweetened apple sauce
2 scoops (70g total) Juice PLUS+ Complete Vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 vanilla pod
Preheat the oven to 195 degrees.
Mash bananas until smooth.
Beat eggs and add apple sauce.
Add in all dry ingredients and mix well.
The dough should have a smooth, sticky consistency, like cake mixture. If it is too dry, add a dash of your choice of milk.
Put the mixture in a greased bread tin and bake for about 45 minutes. Depending on the size of the tin and your oven the baking time may vary. The bread is ready when you prick it with a toothpick and no dough sticks to it.
Variation: You can add nuts or dried fruits to the dough to provide variety.
